Konkore Fittings proudly offers Screw-On Liquidtight Type Connectors for use with Liquidtight Flexible Metallic Conduit Malleable Iron. Standard materials used for Konkore Screw on Fittings include: malleable iron, steel ferrule, locknut and nylon seals and bushing.
Konkore’s Screw-On Connectors main feature provides an improvement to the conventional industry design. The improvement is on the ferrule. The ferrule has two tabs that partner with two holes on the body of the connector. The holes on the connector body capture the ferrule tabs allowing the ferrule to be screwed into the liquid-tight conduit. The benefit is the elimination of the time-consuming dis-assembling and re-assembling of the connector. In addition, it eliminates the need to use a tool to screw the ferrule into the conduit.
Konkore Screw-On Liquidtight Connectors are different than traditional existing liquid-tight connectors in the way that it is assembled to the conduit. With the traditional design, the ferrule is first removed from the connector assembly then screwed into the conduit by itself. The Konkore Screw-on design eliminates this process and the entire connector is used to screw the ferrule into the conduit without having to remove the ferrule.
