EMT fittings from Konkore Fittings are zinc plated and made from SAE 1006 steel and contain nylon insulating bushings.
Konkore EMT fittings are similar to conventional EMT fittings both using either set-screw or compression rings to secure EMT pipes.
Connectors are mounted to a metallic box using a steel locknut that screw on standard NPSM threads. Some also have nylon insulating bushings. Conventional EMT compression fittings are either for dry location or wet locations. Compression type is concrete-tight while set screw is concrete-tight when properly taped.
EMT connectors are used to secure EMT conduits to electrical metallic box. EMT couplings are used to couple two EMT pipes together, or an EMT pipe and a Rigid/IMC pipe together.
